9 Vietnamese Universities Listed in THE Impact Rankings 2023

June 1, 2023 – Times Higher Education (THE) magazine has just announced the results of THE Impact Rankings for 2023, providing a list of 9 higher education institutions in Vietnam in this ranking, Demonstrates the advancement of our country’s education system in implementing sustainable development goals.
THE Impact Rankings aims to measure the success of higher education institutions in implementing the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations. This is a global goal, the purpose of building a fair, prosperous society and protecting the living environment.
In the list of ranked schools, Hanoi National University stands out when it increases in ranking compared to 2022, ranking in the group 401 – 600 in the world. In particular, the ranking of the goal “Quality Education” has reached 70th position in the world (5th in Southeast Asia and top in the country).
Along with Hanoi National University, the higher education system in Vietnam is also gradually asserting its position on the world education map. In 2023, there will be a total of 9 educational institutions ranked, up from 7 in 2022, 4 in 2021 and just 2 in 2020.

The fact that many universities appear in THE Impact Rankings 2023 demonstrates the focus and efforts of the Vietnamese education system in promoting the country’s comprehensive and sustainable development. This is an important step forward, while promoting the role of higher education in building a better future for Vietnam and the world.
